  • THE WENATCHEE WORLD
The Wenatchee, Wash. newspaper is using the Internet to share its recent press installation efforts with the newspaper industry.

Two years ago the WORLD used the Web to help sell its old Goss Urbanite press. After that success the WORLD focused a live "Press Cam" on the installation of the paper's new press.

During the process of installing the press, reducing the web and moving to a remote production facility, the WORLD encountered many issues other newspapers might find useful. Much of the information is public but the WORLD has also posted many "Newspaper Only" pages geared only to the newspaper industry.

The "Newspaper Only" pages are password protected. To view the free information, newspaper employees can simply request a password http://www.wenworld.com/press.html and one will be forwarded via e-mail.
